Every year La Mesa Presbyterian Church  hosts its largest community event, the Feast of Hope.  Between 1300 and 1600 hot Thanksgiving meals are provided to those who would otherwise do without.  This is done through the enormous efforts of volunteers who donate their time and talents during the week leading up to, and on, Thanksgiving Day.  While located in the International District, this feast is open to all, and is one of the largest Thanksgiving meal programs within Albuquerque.  There is also a FREE Clothing Bank for people to come and take donated clothing items.
