FOOD PANTRY- CHANGE

The La Mesa Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 to 11:00 a.m. every week. You may visit once a week. No ID required. 

If you would like to make a donation via GoFundMe we would appreciate it.

La Mesa Presbyterian Church seeks to further Christ's unfolding reign of justice and compassion. Our name, La Mesa, symbolizes the vision of our life together. At this table, God is worshiped, barriers are broken down, children are nurtured, hospitality is extended, community is created, learning is valued, and all who come are fed.

Attend Recording Session

The worship committee has approved having 5 additional people at the worship recording sessions every Wednesday ay 9 a.m. Attendees may participate in responding to the call to worship, prayer of confession and singing hymns. If you are interested in participating, you may sign up by clicking the button below or you may call the office and Denia will assist you. Sign up added every Friday.

BREAD FOR THE WORLD - OFFERING OF LETTERS

April to May La Mesa is participating in the Offering of Letters to congress with Bread For the World. This year we are focusing on supporting the Child Tax Credit.  Please see the "Bread for the world report" link for more information on the campaign.  The “Letter Template and email form” and "Addresses to US Congresspeople" to write a letter.  Alternatively, contact Marlys Leslie or Sharon Chamberlin to have letter writing material delivered, or letters picked up to be mailed.  Once you write a letter please follow the “Poll” link to let us know who you wrote to. We will accept letters through May 31. Be sure to log in the "Poll" below  how many letters you have sent.
