Dr Pfeifer is an exceptional Navajo, both being sent away to boarding school as a child, then creating effectively the very first Navajo Bilingual school in Rough Rock AZ. A book has been written about that school which prominently features Anita (A Place to be Navajo by Teresa McCarty).
