Dr. Radi Moustafa (PhD from UNM), educator and asylee from Egypt, will be our guest for Going Deeper on August 9. He will be speaking about his experience being incarcerated for 7 months in a for-profit, privately run ICE facility in the fall of 2018, incarceration risks and implications during the COVID-19 pandemic. He and Lois Meyer will share information about the campaign to pressure the NM Educators Retirement Board to divest funds from private prisons.
