Going Deeper, Spain’s Catholic Holy Week festivities, @ 9 AM with Northern NM Guests Dr. Loretta and Rep. Tomás Salazar.

In Málaga, Spain, the 17th century statue of the Virgen de la Esperanza is seen only once each year on Maundy Thursday of Holy Week, when the 11,000 pound religious icon is paraded for 6 hours through the city streets by 264 male throne bearers. By enduring this agonizing task, they offer penance.
